Experiences with species

I first saw these dynamic pelagic birds on a two day trip out of Cape Town. Another opportunity to get out to sea off Richards Bay saw us encountering several of these Pterodroma Petrels as well as a few of their Great-winged cousins. Now that we're running regular Durban pelagics, we've started picking them up there too, with sightings in August 2014 and July 2015.
