Experiences with species First seen in Marievale, since then at Nylsvlei and in a non decript area between the Vaal dam and N3 called Beerlaagte. They are not that common - fairly easily distinguised by the way the sit "down" in the water compared to other ducks. The white patch at the base of the bill is diagnostic. |
