Experiences with species On an unsuccesful trip to try and relocate a Wilson's Phalarope at Barberspan, we saw hundreds of Maccoa Ducks on the adjacent Leeupan. I have also seen a male in breeding plumage at Kamfers Dam in Kimberley. They have a characteristic pointed tail which sticks up at a 45 degree angle. Other names: - |
