Experiences with species

This bird had evaded me for quite a while, strange as it is not actually that uncommon near Gauteng. We then saw this individual in a terrible state of moult, followed by another the next day, with moult in the primaries that made it appear to have white wing panels, then a stunner flew low over the camp the same day. We had just returned to camp and my camera was safely ensconsed in the car. A Pytilia then landed at the bird bath and also evaded the camera!
