Experiences with species This Snipe turned out to be far more difficult to distinguish from African Snipe than I had expected. There were a lot of Snipe flushing as we walked through the damp fields, in all sorts of moult and a mixture of adults and juveniles. The white spotting in the upperwing is probably the most diagnsotic feature. Other names: Double Snipe |
