Experiences with species
Red-eyed Bulbuls are more common in the arid areas, but in recent
years they seem to be the predominant Bulbul species seen in Suikerbosrand, Gauteng. Having seen the Red-eyed Bulbul in Malaysia
I can see why they added "African" to ours!
