Experiences with species

Oxpeckers are threatened by use of pesticides on domestic animals. Various re-introduction programmes are underway to get them back into their former ranges. Yellow billed prefer larger animals such as Buffalo and Rhino. This group must have been way over 500 birds, near Pafuri, on a herd of 200 Buffalo.
