Experiences with species What a stunner of a pipit when it is in breeding plumage. In a twitch which in my Facebook post I dubbed as the Amazing Race, we drove from Durban to Jo'burg on a Saturday evening, with tickets booked on Sunday's flight to Windhoek, returning the same night - we had the bird by shortly after 9AM. This compounding on a Red-footed Booby lifer on Saturday on a pelagic out of Durban. All good! Other names: - |
