Experiences with species

This Barbet is endangered by habitat destruction, with an estimated population of below 3000. In drizzle and failing light, we stopped at a couple of fig trees. "This is where we normally find them", our guide said. Scanning the trees revealed a white speck, after a while we found another foraging in the tree.
