I wanted a European Duck in Tanzania, the Pintails obliged on our last day there, at Arusha National Park. I had seen a breeding plumage male at Northern Farms in Gauteng, however the likelihood of it being an escapee from a wildfowl collection was too high, so seeing them truely wild was excellent. Since then I've seen them in Finland, Norway, England and Ethiopia.
