Experiences with species I had seen Northern Royal at their breeding grounds near Dunedin. I really wanted to see one of the white-backed Albatrosses in Southern African waters, so got on a pelagic in August to hopefully be out at sea at the best possible time. We were lucky enough to encounter both Southern and Northern Royals on this trip in 2009. Other names: - |
