Experiences with species
This Barbet is fairly common along the KZN coast. One flew into the window
and killed itself when we stayed in St. Lucia - not the nicest way to see one, but it did give an opportunity to study
the plumage up close. They are also common in Mozambique and the Zimbabwe Eastern highlands.
