Experiences with species These Flycatchers are a relatively rare occurence in Southern Africa. There was great excitement when we first saw them in 2008, so much so that photos came second, and I took none that were useable. In my trip in January 2011, we were fortunate to see two, one in Christonbank near Harare, in good breeding plumage, and then one at Cecilkop near Mutare, in non breeding plumage. I only managed pics of the Christonbank bird, but that's good enough for me! Other names: - |
