Experiences with species This must be the most beautiful bird I have ever "twitched"! A mad dash from Jo'burg to Pongola Game Reserve saw us arriving in overcast conditions with failing light. No sign of the bird, so we decided that we would have to stay the night and return in the morning. It did not disappoint, in spite of generally crap weather, and performed quite brilliantly (pun intended!) for us and the Phinda chaps who arrived shortly after us. Other names: - |
