Experiences with species We had distant sightings of one in Finland in 2013, then on our trip to Ethiopia we saw a large number on the Sululta plains. In 2013, one got lost and migrated to the Waterberg in Namibia. Then early in 2015 I came across a request for ID on Facebook, of a bunch of larks, and in amongst the photos, a streaky little bird with a yellow eyering and pink bill, seen at Kieliekrankie in the Kgalagadi!! So, onto our birdlist this little beauty goes - I wonder if I'll ever bump into one in Southern Africa... Other names: - |
